Privacy Policy.  
We at “Uppdragsarbetarnas a-kassa”, an initiative from “Egenanställningsföretagen’s branschorganistaion” the umbrella employment organization, to create an unemployment insurance funds for task-based work safeguards your personal integrity. We want you as a person who have signed up to feel secure in how the processing of your personal data takes place. With this document, we want to inform you about how we collect and process your personal data, for what purpose we do so and how long the data is stored. We also want to tell you about the rights you have and how to enforce them. We process your personal data in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation.

What is personal information?
Personal information is any kind of information that can be directly or indirectly linked to a physical person. Examples of personal information are name, social security number, postal address, and e-mail address.

The purpose of the processing of your personal data
The umbrella employment organization processes your personal data in connection with you applying to join the initiative. The umbrella employments organization bases the processing of your personal data on your consent. By giving consent to the processing of your personal data, these are treated as if you intend to become a member at the time of the formal registration of “Uppdragsarbetarnas a-kassa”, the unemployment insurance agency. Your consent to the treatment is necessary for us to be able to have control over how many future members of the future unemployment insurance fund are registered, to be able to fulfill our legal obligations according to law, ie. achieve a certain number of members before “Uppdragsarbetarnas a-kassa” can be registered by the relevant authority.

When the unemployment insurance agency is registered by the relevant authority, your consent to treatment will be transferred to comply with the law, ie. an unemployment insurance fund has a legal basis for processing personal data belonging to the unemployment insurance agency’s members.

Who can access your personal information?
During the time of the application to register “Uppdragsarbetarnas a-kassa”, we will share your personal information with the relevant authorities, who themselves decide how the information provided to them is to be processed. To fulfill the purposes of our processing of your personal data, we may also share your personal data with companies that provide services to the umbrella employment organization, for example companies that handle the distribution of marketing, consultants hired for service and development of this project. These companies may only process your personal data in accordance with our express instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes, in accordance with the assistant agreements we enter with these companies. The assistant agreements also regulate, among other things, confidentiality, and security for your personal data.

How long is your personal information stored?
According to the  GDPR, we may not store personal data for a longer period than is necessary. We make ongoing decisions about how long this application process to form a new unemployment insurance fund will continue. When the data is no longer needed, they are thinned.

If you believe that the Self-Employment Companies’ trade association has processed your personal data in violation of the Data Protection Ordinance, you have the opportunity to submit a complaint to the Privacy Protection Authority.
